Salon Privé confirms Dutch super car manufacturer Vencer will reveal the Sarthe to the UK for the first time in the stunning grounds of Syon House.

Vencer was established in 2012 by Robert Cobben and is based in Vriezenveen. The first Vencer is the Sarthe, which had its world premiere in Monaco in April and Salon Privé is delighted to host it’s UK reveal.

The Sarthe is a low volume exclusively handmade mid-engine sports car which utilises a hybrid space frame chassis, made of high grade tubular steel, with chrome-molybdenum safety structure and rear sub-frame with the floor made up of an aluminium honeycomb structure. This combination of materials and techniques results in a lightweight, super strong and rigid chassis.

The 8-cylinder engine is placed behind the driver, in a mid-engine configuration. The engine is directly bolted onto the 6-speed MT gearbox. Due to this configuration the car has a very balanced weight distribution of 45% front and 55% at the rear.

The Vencer “double wishbone” ensures a pure and direct vehicle control without additional electronic interference. Only ABS and EBD are present to properly support the driver in difficult and unsafe situations.

To ensure a comfortable and optimal driving experience, the Sarthe is equipped with an efficient climate control system. Electric windows, in-car entertainment, central locking, and alarm as standard. However, upon customer requests the car can be equipped with additional features.

Tickets for Salon Privé can be purchased at www.salonprivelondon.com or by calling the Ticket Hotline on 0808 100 2205. Entry is fully inclusive of Pommery champagne, lobster luncheon, English afternoon tea and full access to all areas.

This Alpine Centenary Trial will follow the original 1,850-mile route as closely as possible, tackling some of the world’s most spectacular and challenging mountain passes in one of the automotive world’s most gruelling tests of endurance.

The Rally has been organised by the 20-Ghost Club, first formed in 1949 by a group of owners dedicated to the preservation of pre-1940 Rolls-Royce motor cars which were in danger of being lost. The name of the Club was taken from the legendary 40/50 hp Silver Ghost and its smaller counterpart, the 20 hp model.

The cars will wind their way through Austria, Italy, Croatia, Slovenia and Switzerland from 14-29 June, converging at the halfway point in Italy with members of the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts Club. This gathering of nearly 100 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghosts will be the largest of its kind in history.

A hundred years ago, the Alpine Rally was the toughest test of a car’s reliability and performance in Europe. Extreme temperatures and altitude, summit climbs of up to 7,400ft, and a rugged landscape peppered with water-filled gullies and hairpin bends, were just some of the challenges requiring ground-breaking engineering by Rolls-Royce.

The design of a new four-speed gearbox with low-gear to deal with exceptional gradients proved so perfect that it would remain in use for the next 15 years. The chassis and suspension, strengthened to take on unmetalled roads at pace, had been put through thousands of miles of roadwork in a few days back at base by the works team’s ‘bumping’ machine. A larger primary tank and newly-developed reserve fuel tank allowed for non-stop daily running.

After its performance in the Rally, the Silver Ghost would be known simply as ‘The Best Car in the World’.

Many of the hazardous conditions of 1913 remain. The infamous Loibl Pass, now off-limits to drivers, is being opened especially for this rally. The Pass is still the steepest of all the passes, with unusually steep and sharp hairpin bends that rise 2,300ft in three miles. This will only be tackled by experienced Ghost drivers.

Forty-seven Silver Ghosts, all made between 1909 and 1926, are entering the Centenary Trial. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Limited is entering a ‘Works Team’, comprising the original Radley car which won the 1913 Rally (named after adventurer James Radley) and a new Centenary Collection Ghost ‒ a limited edition Bespoke collection which pays tribute to the 1913 Alpine Trial cars. More than 150 participants are taking part from 12 countries, including Australia, America and Hong Kong as well as the UK.

The Centenary Alpine Trial will be officially started by the Markgraf Pallavicini, great-grandson of the president of the Austrian Automobile, Motorcycle, and Touring Club (OAMTC) at the time of the original Trial in 1913.

British sportscar manufacturer Caterham will make its debut at the Le Mans 24 Hours this year (June 22/23), as it looks to further elevate its position as a global authority in sportscar development ahead of the launch of its brand new model in 2016.

Racing under the Caterham Motorsport banner, the lightweight sportscar specialist’s participation in the 90th running of the French classic will also allow Caterham Group to investigate the viability of producing a customer Sports Prorotype package in the future.

Caterham Motorsport will run the #41 Zytek Z11SN-Nissan in the LMP2 category, with Caterham F1 Team Reserve Driver and Caterham Racing GP2 driverAlexander Rossi joining double LMP2 class-winner, Tom Kimber-Smith and gentleman driver Eric Lux in the driving seat.

The move reflects Caterham’s growing status and ambition on the international stage. Caterham F1 Team is competing in its second season at the pinnacle of motorsport under the Caterham banner and, in November 2012, Caterham Cars announced a 50:50 Joint Venture partnership with Renault to develop and build its first new road model in 20 years.

The entry to Le Mans also builds on the launch, in 2010, of the Caterham SP/300.R, a supercharged, mini Le Mans-style sports prototype, which has received glowing reviews from both customers and media and garnered strong demand as an advanced trackday machine and race school car.

A crew of Caterham engineers, technicians and data analysts will be embedded with its partner team at Le Mans, the highly-successful Greaves Motorsport outfit, to ensure that Caterham’s legendary ability to deliver intuitive handling characteristics is applied to the set-up of the #41 car.

Caterham personnel will be led by Caterham Technology CEO Mike Gascoyne. He told AutoVIP: “Within Caterham Group, we have a great deal of experienced personnel with a wide range of technical expertise – from powertrain development to carbon composite design.

“While there won’t be any specification changes we can apply to the car for this year’s Le Mans 24 Hours, because the car is homologated for the whole season, we will be looking in more detail at how our various areas of expertise across both Caterham Technology & Innovation and Caterham Composites can be applied to a customer Sports Prototype programme in future.

“We have the tools, the talent and the heritage to do the job in a marketplace that is currently light on existing players so it makes sense for us to go and see first-hand how we might take advantage of business opportunity that fits with our capabilities.”

Caterham has a rich heritage in motorsport. Its iconic Seven was originally designed to be a race car for the road and its ‘ladder’ of highly-competitive one-make race championships is widely acknowledged as one of the finest in existence.

Meanwhile, the Caterham Academy has created almost 1,000 brand new racing drivers since its inception in 1995 and the Seven has become one of the most raced cars in the world. Caterham also plans to launch its own grassroots karting championship in 2014.

As well as marking Caterham’s first participation in the round-the-clock race, the Le Mans 24 Hours will also be the first foray into international sportscar racing for Alexander Rossi. Rossi’s involvement in the Le Mans programme will form part of his wider motorsport development under the guidance of Caterham.

Rossi said: “Straight after driving in FP1 for Caterham F1 Team in Montreal, I’ll be back in Europe to start my Le Mans work. I’m excited about the challenge ahead and honoured with the opportunity to represent Caterham and the US at one of the most prestigious motorsport events of the year.

“On a personal level, taking part in Le Mans has always been another goal of mine. F1 is my main target and I’m fully focused on that, but to run at Le Mans is important to me and for my CV. It’s a special race and to have the chance to compete with a team that’s already had success in endurance racing makes it all the better. In addition, I can help the guys at Caterham who I already know very well.

“Just as in F1, my goal for the first few days with the Le Mans team will be to learn as much I can, building up the performance levels needed for qualifying and the race itself. My immediate focus is still F1 and FP1 at the Canadian GP with Caterham F1 Team, but as soon as that’s done it’ll be all about Le Mans.”

The Caterham Motorsport #41 LM P2 car will make its on-track debut at the official ACO test at Le Mans on June 8/9, followed by the race itself on June 22/23.

Alfa Romeo UK is pleased to announce that the eagerly anticipated Alfa 4C will make its dynamic UK debut at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed (12-14 July). The exclusive ‘Launch Edition’ of the compact supercar will be showcased at the prestigious festival’s ‘First Glance Class’ and will also be seen in action by the public for the very first time as it ascends the famous Hill Climb course.

The ‘Launch Edition’ of the Alfa 4C was given its world première at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year where the model was met with critical acclaim. Made in Italy, the Alfa 4C represents the true essence of a sports car, embodying the authentic values of the Alfa Romeo brand: Italian style, performance and technical excellence, offering maximum driving satisfaction in total safety.

Just like its spiritual predecessor, the iconic 33 Stradale, the Alfa 4C is a mid-engined, rear wheel drive, compact sports coupé. Both cars – along with technical displays of the Alfa 4C chassis and gearbox – will feature on the Alfa Romeo Goodwood stand.

The Alfa 4C offers supreme agility with compact dimensions of just under 4m long, 2m wide and 118cm high; also making it incredibly aerodynamic and efficient. Powered by a new all-aluminium, direct-injection, 240hp 1750cc turbo petrol engine, developing 350Nm of torque, the implemented state-of-the-art technical and technological solutions push the Alfa 4C to reach real supercar performance, as demonstrated by a power to weight ratio of more than 250hp per ton.

Combining Launch Control and Alfa’s TCT transmission, the Alfa 4C has a top speed in excess of 155mph, a 0-62mph time of 4.5 seconds, 1.1 of lateral g on corners and 1.25 g of maximum braking deceleration.A new version of the Alfa DNA selector fitted to the 4C will also feature a new Race mode alongside the original three options – Dynamic, Natural and All Weather.

Damien Dally, Head of Brand at Alfa Romeo UK told www.AutoVIP.co.uk : “The Goodwood Festival of Speed is a spectacular celebration of motoring drawing automotive enthusiasts from all over the country and even Europe. What better event for the Alfa 4C to make a thrilling UK debut? We can’t wait to see the crowd reaction as this fantastic car takes to the famous Hill Climb for the very first time. This will be a Festival of Speed to remember for Alfa Romeo.”

The most powerful production BMWs ever launched come to the UK this year. The BMW M5 and M6 with Competition Package boast 575hp each between the four variants and record the fastest ever official zero to 62mph time.

The new BMW M5 Saloon receives the recent changes to the 5 Series range while also adding M specific enhancements such as the M Double-spoke kidney grille, currently seen on the M6 Coupé and Convertible, as well as the new M Steering Wheel with M DCT paddles that feature on these models. To the rear, the tail lights feature new Thin Blade technology, which provides clear defined light making it instantly recognisable as a BMW.

Additionally the Active M Differential is tuned to enhance agility during cornering while the M Dynamic Mode (MDM) is tuned to allow higher thresholds before the DSC intervenes.
BMW 518d – a new starting point for the range

The BMW Saloon and Touring are now available with a new 518d engine which minimises buying and operating costs, and will be of particular appeal to UK business drivers.

Powered by a 143hp version of BMW’s 2.0-litre turbodiesel engine featuring common-rail injection and variable inlet geometry, this new starting point to 5 Series ownership offers impressive running costs. Fuel economy on the combined cycle is 62.8mpg (Touring 58.9mpg) while CO2 emissions are as low as 119g/km (Touring 127g/km), all while still complying with EU6 regulations. Its competitive performance figures mean the BMW 518d Saloon attracts a UK BIK taxation rate of only 18 per cent. Yet with 360Nm of torque at only 1,750 rpm, it marries efficiency and driving enjoyment in inimitable BMW style: acceleration from 0-62 mph is achieved in 9.7 seconds (Touring 10.1seconds).

The new starting point for the 5 Series Saloon and Touring comes at the same time as each has been subtly modified to give their sporting characters a sharper edge. There are additional contour lines around the BMW kidney grille and a re-structured lower air intake, while both variants now incorporate indicator repeaters into the door mirrors as standard. Standard equipment has also been enhanced to include Business Navigation, Xenon headlights, BMW Emergency Call and Teleservices. The Saloon and Touring also have new-style tail lights with slender, elegant LED light strips and along with an additional crease in the rear apron they emphasise the car’s width and sporting stance.

The BMW 518d Saloon starts at £29,830 OTR for an SE rising to £32,630 OTR for an M Sport derivative. A BMW 518d Touring costs from £32,155 OTR for an SE rising to £35,080 OTR for an M Sport.

Aston Martin is taking sports car performance to extremes with the announcement of the new V12 Vantage S.

TO VIEW THE ASTON MARTIN V12 VANTAGE S VIDEO CLICK HERE

The new car replaces the outgoing V12 Vantage in markets around the world and, with the exception of the One-77 hypercar, arrives as the fastest road-going Aston Martin yet offered.

Providing the most visceral yet engaging sports car experience in the British luxury car maker’s current range, the new V12 Vantage S delivers exceptional sporting agility underpinned by admirable long distance refinement.

Equipped with the new 573 PS Aston Martin AM28 6.0-litre V12 engine, featuring latest generation Bosch engine management, the car is capable of reaching 205 mph.

Peak and low rev torque improves appreciably, too. With 620 Nm available at 5,750 rpm – up from 570 Nm previously – the V12 Vantage S is not to be found wanting. Crucially, too, low rev torque – measured at just 1,000 rpm – leaps from 440 Nm to 510 Nm. This serves to both flatten and fatten the torque curve, thereby significantly improving driveability.

Aston Martin Chief Executive Officer Dr Ulrich Bez told www.AutoVIP.co.uk : “The new V12 Vantage S is, simply, pure Aston Martin. It is extreme in its nature yet truly timeless in its design language.

“Learning from our successes on the track feeds the development of this type of car and I’m proud to launch such an exciting sports car in this, our centenary year.”

Race car technology runs right through the DNA of the V12 Vantage S with, for instance, CNC machined combustion chambers and hollow cam shafts just two examples of track technology feeding through to the road.

Another clear example is the new car’s new gearbox. The Sportshift™III AMT (automated manual transmission) is a major development of the automated manual gearbox that appears in the current V8 Vantage S.

Designed and engineered to exploit the full sporting potential of the V12 engine, the new Sportshift™III hydraulically-actuated automated manual transmission provides motorsport-style paddle shift changes for optimum performance delivery and efficiency. The unit is also appreciably lighter than the outgoing six-speed manual gearbox – saving 25 kg.

This race-derived and motorsport proven technology – used routinely in Aston Martin Racing’s race-winning Vantage GT4, GT3 and GTE competition cars – provides for great driver control with only milliseconds of torque interruption and delivers precise and swift gear changes.

The Sportshift™III transaxle, from transmission experts Oerlikon Graziano, joins an extensive array of new sport- and track-focused developments that ensure the V12 Vantage S is fully equipped to exploit the huge performance potential of its 6.0-litre naturally aspirated AM28 engine.

The debut of three-stage adaptive damping – another ‘first’ for the Vantage family – allows the driver to more precisely tailor the car’s dynamic character. ‘Normal’, ‘Sport’ and ‘Track’ modes provide a broad swathe of dynamic performance that can be tuned to better suit the driver’s requirements. The system also governs the level of power steering assistance offered.

Working alongside the extended adaptive damping system is a ‘Sport’ mode, controlled via a button on the centre console, that alters throttle response, gearshift speed and timing, and exhaust note to, once again, tune the character of the car to the driver’s requirements.

A whole new exhaust system – derived from that of the One-77 hypercar, no less – is lighter, smaller and, crucially, even more sonorous than that of the outgoing car.

The ZF Servotronic power assisted steering is new, too. With a quicker 15:1 ratio, it is linked to the adaptive damping button and offers two-mode steering assistance designed to best match the ‘Sport’ or ‘Normal’ settings generated by the Adaptive Damping System.

Pure power, beautifully presented

The V12 Vantage S has been restyled to reflect is position as the flagship of the new Vantage range.

Most noticeable, perhaps, is the car’s grille that does away with the famous aluminium vanes – replacing them with a new carbon fibre arrangement that also includes sporty black carbon fibre or titanium silver mesh. Created to maximise airflow to the V12 engine, the new grille is inspired by that of the remarkable new CC100 Speedster Concept, nicknamed DBR100, which debuted at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring earlier this month and signals a new era of Aston Martin design language.

Other clues that single out the car as new include the debut of new lightweight forged alloy ten-spoke wheels, and a subtle yet distinctive exterior graphics pack that includes black painted roof and part-painted boot panel.

The new V12 Vantage S of course retains the same compact proportions and muscular stance as its predecessor, while features such as the pronounced bonnet vents and flared wheel arches underscore its sporting abilities.

Inside, as out, the new car has been styled to reflect its powerful nature. New-style seating with Sport and carbon fibre Lightweight seat options, revised stitching and welt detailing, two leather grade options – Luxmill and semi-aniline – plus the possibility to include Alcantara, present V12 Vantage S buyers with an exciting array of trim choices.

The optional Carbon Fibre Interior Pack, which adds the material to the car’s facia and door pulls, plus the availability for the first time in a V12 Vantage S of black pedals, further enhances personalisation options for those in search of a truly bespoke sports car.

Dr Bez added: “The new V12 Vantage S is our most extreme Vantage to date – engineered to bring race car performance and technology to the open road.

“It is our most powerful engine in a beautifully tailored suit. It is elegant, yet brutal, and it is at the same time easy to control. It has everything that sums up Aston Martin: power, beauty and soul!”

The 2013 Cholmondeley Pageant of Power (14 to 16 June; www.cpop.co.uk), the UK’s biggest celebration of power and speed, will play host to some of the world’s greatest modern supercars, as the latest models from illustrious marques including Lamborghini, McLaren, Aston Martin, Bentley and many more go head-to-head to claim victory in the Pageant’s timed Supercar class.

The Supercar class is the most hotly contested element of the Pageant’s on-track action, and is also the class which has most consistently produced the winner of the fastest-lap award each year. Entrants in 2013 will include the Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera Edizione Tecnica and McLaren 12C, two of the most iconic supercars of the moment. Cholmondeley’s demanding 1.2-mile circuit will give crowds the chance to see which is fastest as they each attempt to beat the course record over the weekend.

For many drivers and petrolheads, merely going quickly isn’t necessarily enough, however, and a number of ultra-exclusive hypercars will also be taking to the track to win visitors’ hearts as well as the event’s podium places.

Among these will be the two fastest road cars in the world – the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport (1,184 bhp and a top speed of 268 mph) and Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse, the fastest convertible ever produced, with a top speed of 254 mph. The technological landmark Lexus LFA also joins the hypercar pack as one of the most dramatic vehicles the world has ever seen, and also one of the rarest. The Pageant of Power will be one of the only opportunities that visitors get to see these hallowed cars in one place in the UK this year.

Also taking to the Cholmondeley circuit will be the Bentley Continental Supersports Convertible ‘Ice Speed Record’ car, which in 2011, set a new ice speed record of 205.5 mph at the hands of rally-ace, Juha Kankkunen.

Other entrants into the Pageant of Power’s fastest racing class are the new Porsche 911 Carrera 4S, Bentley Continental GT Speed, and a host of home-grown British supercar talent, including the stunning new Jaguar F-Type, Noble M600 and Morgan Aero Supersports.

Beyond the glitz and glamour of most entrants to the Supercar class, however, lightweight ‘giant-slaying’ sports cars from Great Britain remain strong favourites to clinch the outright lap record, despite costing a fraction of their competitors. These include the Ariel Atom 3.5, Radical SR8 RX, BAC Mono and Caterham SP/300.R. The Caterham set a new fastest lap for a car around the 1.2-mile circuit in 2012, with a blistering time of just 61.89 seconds.

Centenary celebrations for Aston Martin, and a 50th birthday for iconic Italian brand Lamborghini will also give visitors the chance to get up close with some of the most beautiful and most powerful sports cars ever made. Over 100 Aston Martin models and more than 30 Lamborghinis will be on display throughout the weekend, including the all-new Aston Martin Vanquish, and the new Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster, making its UK debut at the Pageant of power. Both are famous for their power, beauty and sheer theatre.

“The Supercar class gives visitors to the Pageant the ideal opportunity to witness the sights, sounds and awesome power of some of the rarest and most beautiful road cars currently in production,” James Hall, Event Director at the Cholmondeley Pageant of Power, told www.AutoVIP.co.uk . “Last year’s lap record, set by the giant-slaying Caterham SP/300.R, is sure to have ruffled some feathers in the class, so I’m sure that we’re in for a thrilling on-track battle this June.”

Now in its sixth year, the 2013 Pageant will take place on the Cholmondeley Estate in Cheshire from 14 to 16 June, celebrating power and performance in its many forms. Until 13 June, adult tickets start at just £24 for the Friday Preview Day, and £32 to see all the action on Saturday or Sunday. Under-16 tickets are currently available from just £5 for the Friday Preview Day and £7 for Saturday and Sunday tickets.

Away from the clamour created by the recently-launched Jaguar F-Type, aficionados of the marque will be making a bee-line to Weybridge, Surrey, on Saturday June 1st where Jaguar’s most evocative star of the past comes to auction.

At its major summer sale, classic car auction specialist Historics at Brooklands will be selling one of the finest remaining examples of the most iconic sports car of all time – the Series One Jaguar E-Type.

When launched in 1961 at a very affordable £2,250 (£38,000 in today’s money) the E-Type immediately gained celebrity status when praised by Enzo Ferrari as the most beautiful car in the world. It was also, for a time, the fastest production car on the planet, and quickly became a fashion icon through owners that included Steve McQueen, Brigitte Bardot and Britt Ekland.

Today, the legacy of the E-Type is alive and well in one of the last Series One, left hand drive models to leave the Browns Lane, Coventry factory – a rare, 1967 all black Series One 4.2 litre – one of over 100 fine classics that will fill the auction hall at Historics on June 1st .

Some measure of the esteem in which the E-type is held, and the exquisite condition of this car, is in the expected sale price of between £110,000 and £130,000.

The fortunate new owner will enjoy driving a car that is better today than when it was built. Indeed, such is the faith the present owner has in the painstaking, two-year, nut and bolt restoration following its return to UK shores from California in 2010, that the sale includes a 12-month unconditional warranty.

During restoration, attention to enhancing still further the dynamics of the car was lavished in numerous areas including the famed straight-six, twin-cam 4.2 litre engine, the gearbox – fully rebuilt with steel synchromesh rings – braking and suspension. In common with all aspects of the car, attention to detail and quality has been of the highest order.

With a recorded mileage of less than 50,000 miles and the painstaking restoration and upgrades, this Series One Jaguar E-Type is anticipated to attract substantial international interest as one of the finest examples available, and will continue to represent a very significant investment opportunity.

Viewing of this, and all 100+ consigned cars, 80+ classic motorcycles and automobilia is at Historics at Brooklands, near Weybridge, Surrey on Friday 31st May from 10.00am with the auction on the following day, Saturday 1st June

In the seats of three stunning examples of the Jaguar XK120 were driver pairings of Sir Chris Hoy and Andy Wallace; Daniel Day Lewis and Jim Gianopulos and David Gandy partnering Yasmin Le Bon.

The cavalcade of official Jaguar Heritage Racing cars in the event was doubled in size by the entries of three remarkable C-Type sports cars. Driver double-acts in lightweight C-Types included Jaguar Regional Director for Europe Bernard Kuhnt and actress Hannah Herzsprung, Alex Buncombe with Chris Harris, and Salvatore Ferragamo Jr. alongside Michael Quinn – the grandson of Jaguar founder Sir William Lyons.

More than 400 classic race and road cars of unique heritage were entered into the Mille Miglia this year. The record number of entries meant that the Jaguar drivers – of which only Jim Gianopulos and Bernard Kuhnt have previous experience – were jostling on road with some of the most significant sports cars ever built by the world’s most prestigious manufacturers.

Sir Chris Hoy, an Ambassador of the Jaguar Academy of Sport, told www.AutoVIP.co.uk : “Being asked to drive with Le Mans winner Andy Wallace in the Mille Miglia was a privilege and I was delighted to take part. It is a technical event that participants take very seriously – I enjoyed its deeply competitive nature and I’m delighted to have made my debut with Jaguar.”

Globally-recognised supermodel David Gandy commented: “The Mille Miglia is an event like no other. It was on my ‘bucket list’ and despite gruelling hours spent on the road each day in difficult weather conditions, the reaction to our car from thousands of fans across Italy and the euphoria Yasmin and I experienced crossing the finishing line made it all worthwhile.”

Jaguar is committed to celebrating its unique, rich heritage as the company continues its recent exciting growth. Bernard Kuhnt said: “Our presence at the Mille Miglia was particularly significant this year as we are launching the new F-TYPE sports car across the world. To bring together the finest Jaguar cars ever made, with some remarkable characters behind the wheel, and to have five F-TYPEs chasing them throughout beautiful Italian countryside was a sight to behold.

“I am extremely thankful to the drivers in our team for spending their valuable time with Jaguar and I am grateful to the Mille Miglia organisers for allowing us the opportunity to enter this spectacular celebration of classic motorsport.”
